Canadian fabricator ADF wins pair of U.S. steel contracts worth $42M

Company to carry out projects at Montreal-area fabrication plant
TERREBONNE, Que.—ADF Group Inc. has landed contracts to fabricate steel for a pair of transportation infrastructure projects in the U.S.
The company said the two agreements are worth $42 million—raising its overall backlog to more than $200 million.
The larger of the two contracts covers the fabrication of steel components for a project in the Northeast U.S., while the second will see ADF ship fabricated steel to a construction site in the Midwest. Work on both projects is expected to get underway shortly.
The company plans to carry out both projects at its Terrebonne, Que. fabrication plant in the Montreal area.
The new contracts follow two other U.S. steel contracts worth $133 million disclosed by ADF earlier this month.
