Pleora Technologies expands North American distribution with Futura Automation

OTTAWA — On Nov. 18, Pleora Technologies announced a new distribution partnership with Futura Automation, an established provider of automation solutions for robotics, material handling, automated assembly and machine vision applications. With this relationship, Futura Automation is distributing Pleora’s new artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to help ensure end-to-end product quality for manufacturers and brand owners in North America.

Pleora’s AI solutions include a “no code” software platform that simplifies development, testing and deployment of AI and computer vision algorithms, edge processing hardware to deploy advanced quality monitoring capabilities alongside existing infrastructure and end-user processes, and a camera-based visual inspection system that automatically identifies product deviations and alerts operators and inspectors. The company’s AI is deployed in the consumer goods, parts manufacturing, food & beverage, and print & packaging markets.
