Company to double current footprint, will move into new Montreal facility next fall

LONGUEUIL, Que.—Crews have kicked off construction on a new 140,000 sq. ft. Lumenpulse Group headquarters and manufacturing plant in Metro Montreal.

The new site in Longueuil, Que. will double the company’s current Montreal-area footprint and include offices, a testing centre, as well as manufacturing, design and engineering space.

Lumenpulse, which designs and manufactures a broad range LED lighting fixtures, expects to house close to 300 employees at the new facility. It plans to lease the space from Quebec development and property management firm Groupe Montoni Inc.

The specialty lighting firm went public in a 2014 initial public offering and has more than doubled its sales to $145 million over the past two years. It has other manufacturing sites in Quebec City, Vancouver, Manchester, U.K., and Florence, Italy.
