TORONTO — PACE Technical and Vertex Solutions Corporation have joined their information technology companies together to create a new MSP venture with the official name “PACE Technical.”

The companies say this joint venture will create a team of industry experts who specialize in helping companies manage their IT needs and mitigate their cybersecurity risks.

“We believe that a person’s experience with technology directly influences their creativity, productivity, and efficiency,” said Shael Risman, CEO and owner of PACE Technical, in a statement.

“We want to disrupt and reinvent the client experience with technology and in doing so, become the go-to managed service provider for all small to medium-sized businesses and professional service firms in Ontario.”

PACE Technical says it is known in the industry for its cloud services and security solutions, while Vertex Solutions has delivered IT services to law firms over the past decade.

The new joint venture will retain the PACE Technical name, but Vertex Solutions will continue as “Vertex Legal, a PACE Technical Company.”

PACE Technical drew upon research which suggests small and medium-sized enterprises account for nearly half of Canada’s GDP. More and more these small to medium-sized businesses turn to MSPs for their technology needs. This and increased spending due to cybersecurity risks and compliance demands gives IT providers all the more reason to invest in the proper infrastructure to support their clients.

The companies expect that through their joint venture, they will be able to deliver their services at an expedited rate.
