NANAIMO — VMAC received recognition as Great Place To Work®’s Best Workplaces™ in Manufacturing list for the third consecutive year, joining other organizations in the manufacturing industry.
Great Place To Work determines the Best Workplaces list by reviewing confidential coworker responses to their Trust Index Survey, which requires coworkers to agree over a variety of criteria that their workplace is a ‘great place to work’.
“This recognition is particularly meaningful to VMAC, as our coworkers agreed that VMAC is a great place to work during these very uncertain and unprecedented times,” says Tod Gilbert, VMAC’s President. “Our team has persevered through one of the most challenging years for businesses, and we’ve stayed focused on the future with strong people, processes, and products.”
VMAC designs, engineers, and manufactures rotary screw air compressors and multi-power systems for the mobile service fleet industry. VMAC’s systems are built in-house at its headquarters in British Columbia, Canada.
“We prioritized the needs of our people and their families, working to provide stability, security, and safety,” says Gordon Duval, VP of Sales & Marketing at VMAC. “Keeping our team strong meant VMAC was able to work together to overcome challenges, while remaining committed to the success of our customers, business partners, and community. We’re very proud to be recognized as a Best Workplace in Manufacturing once again.”
