Tada brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in the pharmaceutical industry to Medicago.

QUEBEC CITY — Biopharmaceutical company, Medicago has appointed Toshifumi Tada to be its president and chief executive officer.

Tada has served on Medicago’s board of directors for the last four years. During this time he has become well-acquainted with the company’s objectives, core competencies, response to pandemic situations and endemic diseases.

Tada also served as head of vaccine business development at Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma, helping to diversify the company’s product pipeline. He has also led international business development operations in other capacities within Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma.

“This is a transformational period for Medicago, and I am honoured to take on a new role to work with the company,” said Mr. Tada, president and CEO to be of Medicago in a statement.
