SEOUL — LG Electronics says its first LIFE’S GOOD AWARD is underway.
The award is LG’s way of championing and helping innovative solutions gain recognition. The award will grant the winner a total of USD $1 million to help accelerate the development of their submission.
The company opened the entry period for Sept. 6 through to Oct. 10., and is intended for groups with eco-minded solutions that want to contribute more soundly to the environment while creating user-centric products.
The LIFE’S GOOD AWARD asks entrants to submit their original and marketable solutions relating to innovation for the planet, which targets solutions for environmental health, or innovation for people, which centres on ideas for products that prioritize safety, usability, and accessibility.
Submissions can be made at the LIFE’S GOOD AWARD website, where applicants can also find full details and conditions for entry.
“The Life’s Good Award encapsulates our philosophy of innovation, and our belief that the road to a better future can only be paved if we all come together,” said William Cho, CEO of LG Electronics in a statement.
“We look forward to seeing people’s innovative ideas for a better society and healthier environment, and to provide our support and encouragement in their realization.”
