Graitec expanding to serve the Greater Montréal construction industry

The first few hires will support stakeholders in Québec’s construction sector with their digital transformation, both at the office and work site.
MONTREAL — Graitec Inc., the Canadian subsidiary of international group Graitec whose technological solutions improve building and infrastructure design processes, has announced expansion plans in Montréal, creating some forty jobs over the next year to meet growing demand from North American clients.
Graitec has been operating in Greater Montréal since 2001, and is a player in the construction industry’s digital transformation.
The company’s Montréal team develops and rolls out digital solutions that help clients with design (e.g. architects) and in carrying out infrastructure and building projects to implement innovative BIM (Building Information Modelling) software. This portfolio of software allows for detailed 3D project design, which simplifies information exchange and collaboration between various professionals and workers involved.
“Considering the global health crisis, technology and being proficient in technology have become much more important. Our software can optimize the quantity of resources used for a project. This is a sizeable advantage considering the higher costs of construction materials, such as lumber,” said Hugo Michaud, Managing Director, Graitec. “We are very proud of our team’s work over the past year and the success we had with clients who trusted our software and services.”

This project follows Graitec Group’s acquisition of StrucSoft Solutions and Redcage.
