The Innovation Hub will return to the GTD with a new approach. This year, the Innovation Hub takes the form of a wall showcasing products from the event partners and includes an interactive portion for the visitors. Each visitor will be able to walk up to the robot and select the company they wish to learn more about, and it will then get pointed and highlighted on the wall.

The GTD events in Mississauga and Montreal will begin with opening remarks from the senior member of the Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Toronto. Following the opening remarks, the breakout sessions will commence with engaging presentations from each of the partners from 9:00 a.m. to 2:40 p.m.

Each company will share their latest industry-leading, energy-efficient solutions, and introduce technology in the industry at their individual booths. Representatives will be available throughout the day.

This year GTD has four sponsors for the Mississauga event, and two sponsors for the Montreal event. The Mississauga event will also include a networking centre where visitors can spend some one-on-one time with the various partners and sponsors.

All Mississauga and Montreal GTD event participants can enter the contest to win prizes worth $2500. To be eligible, a passport must be completed by visiting each partner’s and sponsor’s booth to obtain a signature. A draw will then be conducted from the submission received to obtain the prizes. Winners will be announced through email after the event.
