Alexander Dennis unveils new products at Euro Bus Expo 2022

Alexander Dennis also confirmed its first tranche of 2023 model year Plaxton Panther and Leopard Coaches built on the fuel-efficient Volvo B8R chassis.

WINNIPEG — NFI Group Inc. has announced that its subsidiary, Alexander Dennis Limited, showcased its new zero-emission products in Birmingham, United Kingdom for Euro Bus Expo 2022.

At the industry event, Alexander Dennis unveiled the Enviro400FCEV hydrogen double-deck bus for launch to the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority. This particular bus was designed and built entirely by Alexander Dennis and is backed up with AD24 whole-vehicle aftermarket support.

The bus and motor coach maker provided an exclusive preview of other vehicles in Alexander Dennis’ new line of battery electric buses, including the Enviro400EV double-deck bus and the new mid-size midibus the Enviro100EV, which each feature electric driveline and the company’s battery system.

The company also used the event as an opportunity to announce promotions within its commercial team; specifically, Mat Lawrence will commence a new role as fleet sales director; Charlie Mill will serve the company as retail sales director; Debbie McCreath will take over the group marketing director role.

Alexander Dennis also confirmed its first tranche of 2023 model year Plaxton Panther and Leopard Coaches built on the fuel-efficient Volvo B8R chassis, with a choice of I-Shift and automatic transmissions. The coaches will be available for delivery in the first quarter of 2023.
