MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – PEMAC and Institut technologique de maintenance industrielle (ITMI) are launching a Maintenance Management Professional (MMP/PGM) certificate program for professionals who wish to study in French.

The MMP/PGM certificate program, designed by PEMAC, a not-for-profit association, focuses on the tools, techniques, strategies and skills necessary for effective management of a business’s existing physical assets. The program provides training and accreditation to those aspiring to, or already in, maintenance management or supervisory positions.

ITMI, located in Sept-Îles, Quebec, has been delivering industrial maintenance technology services since 2008. The institute provides services such as maintenance assistance, research and professional programs related to the field of industrial maintenance working with organizations and practitioners to improve maintenance best practices and conduct research development and innovation in the field. ITMI will be delivering the MMP program live online in French to participants outside of the province of Quebec.

The French program consists of seven modules that will be delivered live online starting in winter 2019. Each module, led by experienced instructors who are also practicing professionals, is structured to help participants understand and embrace the various concepts necessary to be effective as maintenance management professionals.
