Canadian Tire exec named CFO of the Year

TORONTO—Canadian Tire Corp. Ltd. executive vice-president and chief financial officer Dean McCann has been named Canada’s CFO of the Year for 2015.
The award—presented annually by Financial Executives Canada, PwC and human resources firm Robert Half—recognizes the quality, insight, direction and leadership of Canada’s senior financial executives.
“To build a world class company you need an outstanding CFO,” said Michael Medline, President and Chief Executive Officer, Canadian Tire Corporation. “Dean’s commitment to the Tire and his strong business insights have allowed us to consistently achieve strong results across all of our businesses, while providing our leadership team with the financial flexibility to go on offence.”
