Produits métalliques A.T. will expand Matane, Que., facility, buy new equipment with $422,500 funding

MATANE, Que.—A Quebec snow removal products manufacturer is receiving $422,500 in repayable funding from the federal government to expand its facility and buy new equipment.

According to Canada Economic Development, Produits métalliques A.T. Inc. of Matane, Que., approximately 400 kilometres northeast of Quebec City along the shores of the St. Lawrence River, is receiving the funding under the Temporary Initiative for the Strengthening of Quebec’s Forest Economies (TISQFE).

Produits métalliques A.T. will use the funding to expand its facility by 5,760 square feet and acquire travelling cranes and a plasma cutting table.

Based in the city of 14,000 in eastern Quebec for more than 20 years, the company manufactures a variety of heavy snow removal products including plow blades, dump bodies and spreaders.
