Canadian software company Enghouse Systems Ltd. is acquiring Zeacom Group Ltd. for US$30.6 million.

MARKHAM, Ont.—Canadian software company Enghouse Systems Ltd. is acquiring Zeacom Group Ltd. for US$30.6 million.

The Aukland, N.Z.-based firm provides contact centre and client care solutions for small- to medium-sized businesses in several countries.

It posted US$29 million of revenues in fiscal 2012 and has operations in New Zealand, Australia, the U.S. and the U.K.

Markham, Ont.-based Enghouse develops enterprise software for a number of vertical markets, including utilities, small business and transportation. It posted first quarter revenues of $30.5 million and has market capitalization of $344.5 million
