PrairiesCan invests in business growth, innovation and workforce training in Saskatchewan

SASKATOON — PrairiesCan announced a federal investment of over $7,600,000 to help five Saskatchewan businesses access the resources needed to scale-up and bring innovative products and services to new markets. This funding will support the training of highly skilled workers through the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technology’s Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Preparation Program and Indigenous Practical Nursing Program.

These investments will help ensure that Saskatchewan businesses thrive as strong contributors to the Prairie economy, and that the province achieves its potential with a highly skilled and trained workforce.
