Lion Electric receives order for 30 school buses

Lion Electric will deliver the 30 zero-emission school buses by March 31st, 2023.
MONTREAL — The Lion Electric Company says it has received a purchase order for 30 LionC school buses from an undisclosed Canadian customer.
This represents the second order of Lion buses from the customer, who’s identity the company says it will publicize at a later date.
Lion Electric will deliver the 30 zero-emission school buses by March 31st, 2023. According to the company’s calculations, 30 electric school buses should eliminate more than 600 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions while helping to reduce children’s exposure to emissions from diesel engines.
The Montreal-based designer and manufacturer of all-electric school buses says it has delivered more than 550 heavy duty vehicles in North America over the last 10 years.
