The electric school bus manufacturer says it will commence deliveries in the first quarter of 2023. 

MONTREAL — Lion Electric Company has received an order for 50 all-electric LionC school buses from Autobus Campeau in Quebec.

The electric school bus manufacturer says it will commence deliveries in the first quarter of 2023.

Once deployed into transportation rounds, the new buses will transport students on routes from Brownsburg-Chatham, Gatineau and Rigaud regions.

“We’re quite pleased to continue our collaboration with Autobus Campeau.This new order is proof that the future of school transportation is electric and we’re proud to continue our collaboration with an important transportation provider like Autobus Campeau,” said Benoit Morin, vice-president Bus Sales – Canada at Lion Electric.
