Heating products maker TerraVest acquires ECR International

ECR produces heating and cooling products under the Dunkirk, Utica, and Olsen brand names.
TerraVest Industries Inc. has acquired all the issued and outstanding shares of ECR International Corp., a privately-owned heating and cooling products maker headquartered in Utica, N.Y.
The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Toronto-based TerraVest manufactures home heating products, propane, anhydrous ammonia (NH3) and natural gas liquids (NGL) transport vehicles and storage vessels, energy processing equipment and fiberglass storage tanks.
ECR produces heating and cooling products under a family of brand names in North America, including the Dunkirk, Utica, and Olsen brands.
“ECR is a strong business with a portfolio of successful brands, and we’re delighted to welcome its employees to the TerraVest family,” TerraVest CEO Dustin Haw said. “ECR fits within our portfolio of businesses perfectly and we look forward to nurturing its growth and further strengthening our position in the North American heating market.”
TerraVest said it will acquire ECR using existing cash and credit facilities.
