CGI posts $2.6B Q2 revenue

MONTREAL—CGI Group Inc. reports its second-quarter revenue was $2.6 billion and net income was $251.2 million or 78 cents per share.

The Montreal-based IT service company’s revenue was down from $2.7 billion in the 2014 second quarter but $59.9 million higher than in the first quarter of 2015.

GCI’s profit was up 8.8 per cent compared with $230.9 million in the second quarter of 2014, when it earned 73 cents per share.
