Vice President of Operations, Dorigo Systems

Alex is the Vice President of Operations for Dorigo Systems, a Burnaby-based Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider and one of the Pacific Northwest’s leading contract manufacturers of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA), serving some of the most respected OEM’s in the industry.

Alex provides strategic leadership to Dorigo’s management team, guiding them to the next level of growth and operational excellence as they move to their new Industry 4.0 facility in Burnaby’s Glenlyon Business Park. He is committed to adapting Dorigo’s electronics manufacturing processes and technologies to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Prior to Dorigo Systems, Alex was the Vice President of Operations for Alpha Technologies Ltd, a BC-based leader in the design and manufacture of power solutions for telecomm, traffic, security and renewable energy industries. He led the company’s operations, including quality, supply chain, manufacturing and logistics, through five consecutive years of record sales and customer growth.

He holds a BA in Philosophy and Chemistry from the University of Arizona. When asked why he loves operations, Alex states that his love for Lego got him started from an early age. In fact, he believes that end-to-end operations is Lego for adults that allows us to make a positive social impact through the decisions we make.
