The new name and strategic move emphasizes the development of skills and policies, as well as a shift toward AI, blockchain, robotics and automation

TORONTO – The Supply Chain Management Association announced its name change to Supply Chain Canada at its AGM on Thursday, September 12.

The association also launched a new website as part of an overall rebranding initiative.

“The new name and look are part of a transformation that we have undertaken as the association enters its second century,” said Christian Buhagiar, president and CEO of Supply Chain Canada.

The association’s new logo and tagline, “Professionals advancing the future,” is intended to communicate both the professional status of supply chain practitioners and their forward-looking perspective – with its emphasis on the development of skills and policies – and of the supply chain itself, now focused on AI, blockchain, robotics and automation.
