MONTREAL—Aviation and defence industry training firm CAE has won a series of contracts valued at more than $200 million.

In addition to several commercial pilot training agreements, the new contracts include the sale of 14 full-flight simulators, bringing the company’s 2016 simulator sales tally to 53.

“The commercial aviation market has seen solid demand this past year, and these contracts reaffirm CAE’s position as global training partner of choice,” Nick Leontidis, the company’s group president of Civil Aviation Training Solutions, said.

Under the most significant agreement, CAE will build five Boeing 737 flight simulators for the U.S.’s Southwest Airlines. Other orders include aircraft simulators for Uzbekistan Airlines, Avenger Flight Group and Sofia Flight Training, as well as a number of other undisclosed clients.
