Grow Opportunity: Cannabis coping with COVID-19

Cannabis producers and retailers have been declared an essential service in five provinces across the country, in the wake of mandatory business closures as a result of public health and government officials’ efforts to impose social distancing to curb the spread of COVID-19.

This news came as a sigh of relief for many cannabis companies that feared significant production losses, but one expert warns that this could change if the virus continues to spread and the rate of infection increases to alarming levels.
