TORONTO — Canadian luxury outerwear brand Nobis has launched NEXT by Nobis, a new peer-to-peer resale program that will offer North American shoppers the ability to resell their Nobis products to extend the life of their jackets and help reduce their environmental impact.

In partnership with Recurate, this program will grant customers access to pre-owned products at a discounted rate. To verify the authenticity of the Nobis product, the company will use verification services from Certilogo.

“It only felt natural for us to take it a step further to extend the lifespan of our products by creating NEXT by Nobis,” said Robin Yates, Nobis co-founder and vice president in a statement.

The peer-to-peer platform allows sellers to post their jackets for resale by creating an account and posting their listing with images and details on the product’s condition. The pricing of each item is contingent upon the condition, ideally bringing Nobis products to new customers who may not be looking to pay full retail price or those who are looking for one of the original styles.

Additionally, the seller will ship products directly to the purchasing customer as items are sold to streamline the process.
