Fortis Solutions acquires Profecta Labels

The company says it plans to continue its efforts to acquire more businesses and expand its product outreach.
VIRGINIA BEACH — Fortis Solutions Group LLC has acquired Profecta Labels Inc. based in St-Hubert, Que.
Profecta Labels Inc. is a Canadian flexographic and digital manufacturer of labels and flexible packaging printing serving the industrial, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and food and beverage end-markets in North America.
“We are excited to extend our footprint to Canada and partner with Pierre Roberge and his talented team to deliver additional solutions and capabilities to our customers. Pierre and I share similar business philosophies and we look forward to working together to build upon Profecta’s success,” said Fortis president and CEO John O. Wynne, Jr. in a statement.
The company reportedly employs more than 1,100 employees across 17 manufacturing sites and says it plans to continue its efforts to acquire more businesses to expand its outreach.
