WINDSOR — On Jul. 19, Filomena Tassi, Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), along with Irek Kusmierczyk, MP for Windsor—Tecumseh, announced an investment of $1.15 million for Ennova Facades Inc. (Ennova) to enhance its operations and competitiveness, and increase its production by 100 percent.

Ennova is a family-owned manufacturer of custom-made exterior building products, including walls, windows, solar shades and more. The company offers solutions for large projects in Canada and the U.S., such as airports, hospitals, residential, and other buildings. This investment will support the Canadian manufacturer to add equipment at its Windsor and Amherstburg facilities to increase efficiencies and enhance its local capacity to meet the growing demand for its products.

With these improvements, Ennova hopes to reduce lead times and diversify its clientele, especially in the affordable housing market as developers pursue more cost-efficient building solutions with shorter ordering lead times. The company will in turn increase its competitiveness and revenues while creating 13 good, full-time jobs in the Windsor region.

“Ennova is demonstrating the strength of made-in-Canada products while boosting its competitiveness and production. The Government of Canada is committed to supporting manufacturers as they evolve, grow and adapt new processes and technologies while creating good jobs for Canadians,” said Filomena Tassi, Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario.
