AVL launches AVL TSI Canada, Inc. to support Canada’s Battery Tech and EV Sector

AVL TSI Canada will provide testing equipment and software to large OEMs, universities, and research facilities in Canada.
MISSISSAUGA — AVL has established a new entity, AVL TSI Canada, Inc., in Mississauga, Ontario to support Canada’s battery technology and vehicle electrification sectors. AVL is a global mobility technology company for development, simulation, and testing.
AVL TSI Canada will provide testing equipment and software to large OEMs, universities, and research facilities in Canada to aid in battery technology and EV manufacturing. AVL’s portfolio includes systems for testing various aspects of vehicle electrification, such as batteries, inverters, traction motors, and e-axles.

These dedicated resources allow us to provide superior service and support as well as enhance responsiveness to suppliers, startups, and OEMs alike,” said Corey Miller, Business Director of AVL TSI Canada.
In addition to establishing the new entity, AVL is investing in North America’s premier automotive engineering university competition programs, including the EcoCAR EV Challenge and The Battery Workforce Challenge.
AVL’s involvement in these programs includes providing simulation tools, testing, and engineering support to participants, aiming to develop low-emission and electric vehicles.
