Former SNC-Lavalin exec hired to lead engineering firm Golder
Hisham Mahmoud had been president of SNC's infrastructure arm since joining the company in 2013
MONTREAL—A former senior executive from SNC-Lavalin has been named president and chief executive of Golder Associates, a global consulting and engineering firm.
Hisham Mahmoud, who had been president of SNC’s infrastructure arm since joining the company in 2013, will be head of an Atlanta, Ga.-based, employee-owned organization with 180 offices worldwide and about 7,000 employees.
Prior to joining Montreal-based SNC-Lavalin, Mahmoud had been at AMEC, where he had been responsible for mining, oil and gas, power, environment and infrastructure business in several regions outside Western Europe and the Americas.
