The survey's findings will be developed into an in-depth report to help manufacturers prognosticate the challenges and solutions around implementing Industry 4.0 technologies.

Advanced Manufacturing Outlook Survey 2024

Plant magazine and Canadian Manufacturing announce the undertaking of their annual survey, focused on Advanced Manufacturing and the future of the industry. The responses and data will be used to create a blueprint report for Canadian companies to use on their manufacturing journey heading into 2024.

This in-depth survey takes around 10 minutes to complete and will provide analysis on the overall awareness, usage and current status of Canada’s manufacturing sector and the level of understanding around the future benefits of the “connected factory”.

Questions centre around how manufacturers are using advanced technologies to deal with cybersecurity challenges, automation, solve labour shortage issues, develop product innovations, apply data findings, and other topics.

The survey takes a deep dive into the current level of technology implementation, including financing challenges, and provides an opportunity for manufacturers to provide feedback on what they’re concerned about heading into the future.
