Wastewater firm H2O Innovation wins trio of contracts worth $6.4M

Quebec City-based company to build membrane bioreactors for three Canadian clients
QUEBEC CITY—H2O Innovation Inc. has won three contracts in two Canadian provinces worth $6.4 million.
The Quebec-based water treatment company announced Oct. 24 it will build three wastewater treatment systems for a pair of Alberta customers and a client in Quebec.
The first contract includes a containerized membrane bioreactor as well as sludge dewatering solutions for a Fort McMurray, Alta. waste management company. Destined for the Fort MacKay First Nation, the system will treat wastewater from a number of local work camps. The company said the project is the first of its kind in Alberta.
The remaining Alberta and Quebec contracts include design and maintenance work on membrane bioreactors.
The new work raises H20 Innovation’s project backlog to $48.9 million.
