Victim was struck by small tractor truck at logistics company lot in Ajax, Ont., east of Toronto

AJAX, Ont.—A Toronto man has been killed by a truck at an industrial yard in Durham Region.

Durham regional police say the 54-year-old was walking through the loading area at a logistics company lot in Ajax early Feb. 15 when he was struck by a small tractor truck.

He was rushed to hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Police say he was a truck driver who was at the facility with his vehicle.

His name has not been released and the Ministry of Labour is investigating.

A 46-year-old Oshawa man driving the tractor truck was not injured in the collision.
