Over 99 per cent of Lassonde’s packaging is now reportedly recyclable.

Lassonde has released its 2024 Sustainability Report, showcasing its progress and ongoing commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) responsibility.

“Every day, we take actions together that advance the organization and allow us to combine environmental, social, and economic sustainability, all with a continued focus on our sustainability vision: To be an influential and committed organization that drives the transition to a more sustainable society,” Vincent R. Timpano, CEO, Lassonde said.

The report highlights that 99.6 per cent of Lassonde’s packaging is now recyclable, and the company is working to increase the amount of recycled content used in its products. It has also set a target to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 20 per cent by 2030 — an absolute reduction for scope 1 and 2 emissions, and an intensity reduction for scope 3 emissions.

On the safety and quality front, all of Lassonde’s production plants are certified to Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards, with over 95 per cent of its ingredient suppliers also certified. Additionally, the company says it has invested more than $3.5 million in donations and community initiatives across North America.
