Company will supply two semiconductor manufacturers with ultrapure water systems

MONTREAL—Ovivo Inc. continues to build on its success in the Asian electronics market.

The Montreal-based water and wastewater treatment company has secured contracts to supply two ultrapure water systems to semiconductor plants in Asia. The combined value of the contracts is more than $14 million.

“We are pleased to be selected by two leading semiconductor manufacturers to execute these large contracts in Asia, a region where we see growing demand for water and wastewater solutions, and where we can leverage our local expertise and our integrated global platform,” the company’s president and CEO, Marc Barbeau, said.

Under the first contract, Ovivo will design and supply a UPW system for a plant, as well as water reclamation equipment. The second contract will include UPW equipment as well as services for capacity expansion.

Both projects are slated for delivery in 2016.
