'Duck Dynasty'-inspired pickup to go on sale in Canada in 2014

Concept to be presented to Willie Robertson, star of hit reality show and CEO of Duck Commander

HUNTSVILLE, Ala.—A limited production run of a truck designed for one of the star’s of the hit television series ‘Duck Dynasty’ will go on sale in Canada sometime next year.

Announced at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show, Line-X plans to make its customized Commander Series pickup truck designed for Willie Robertson, CEO of Duck Commander and star of A&E’s reality show ‘Duck Dynasty’, available in Canada in 2014.

Built in the 2014 Chevrolet 1500 and 2500 4WD LT crew cab models, the Commander Series will feature a host of custom parts and accessories graphics, according to Line-X.

“Line-X is continuously working to create innovative ideas and expand our capabilities beyond the traditional bedliners,” Line-X CEO Kevin Heronimus said in a release.

The truck will debut at the 2013 SEMA show to help promote the company’s new customizable truck division.

According to Line-X, the Commander Series truck will feature step bars, bed rails and camouflage graphics on the exterior, and leather and hydrographic dash on the inside.

The company said details for the full production will be available soon.
