The program will connect and support entrepreneurs from Black and Indigenous communities to the Best Buy network.
Consumer electronics retailer Best Buy Canada Ltd. has launch a new Mentorship and Acceleration Program (MAP) for Black and Indigenous tech entrepreneurs.
The company is now accepting applications for the program, which is designed to connect successful applicants to the Best Buy network to help advance their businesses by providing support to prepare and launch their products through all of Best Buy’s retail channels.
“One of the biggest challenges for a small business or start-up is the lack of access to senior counsel; the MAP will provide business education and mentorship, marketing and promotion of their brands and products,” company officials said in a Sept. 15 news release.
The application window is open from Sept. 15 through to Nov. 30, 2021. For more information, visit this link.
