Included in the cables publicized by the most recent Wikileaks release is a list of infrastructure and privately-owned corporate assets that the US government considers vital to its national interests.
Included in the cables publicized by the most recent Wikileaks release is a list of infrastructure and privately-owned corporate assets that the US government considers vital to its national interests.
The list, reported by The Toronto Star on Dec. 6, names companies such as TransCanada Pipelines Ltd., Cangene Corp., The Xstrata Nickel Co. mine in Quebec, General Dynamics Land Systems Canada, Sanofi Pasteur, GlaxoSmithKline Inc., and the Chalk River laboratories.
The list also names several border crossings, hydro-electric projects and dams.
