Firefighters came from 15 different departments to prevent blaze from spreading to adjacent buildings

KINGSTON, N.S.—Police are investigating the cause of a fire that burned an abandoned paper warehouse to the ground in Kingston, N.S.

RCMP Sgt. Al LeBlanc says police and firefighters were called to the former Capital Paper facility at about 11:30 p.m. July 29.

LeBlanc says they are treating the fire as suspicious.

Firefighters came from 15 different departments in the area to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to adjacent buildings.

LeBlanc says they were still monitoring hot spots at the scene.
