Quebec’s H2O Innovation branches out, opens office in Bilbao, Spain

Water treatment company eyes European, Middle Eastern markets
QUEBEC CITY—Canadian water filtration company H2O Innovation Inc. is extending its reach across the Atlantic.
The company has announced it has opened a new office in Bilbao, Spain—its first overseas location. The Quebec City-based cleantech firm said the new office will serve the European and Middle East markets, working to increase sales of its Piedmont’s corrosion free flexible couplings and PWT’s specialty chemicals across the two regions.
“H2O Innovation is primed to increase its sales in these regions that are rich in water treatment expertise and projects,” Frédéric Dugré, the company’s president and CEO, said. “The European office of H2O Innovation is evidence of our commitment to building a lasting presence in the European market and to invest in long-term customer relationships.”
To lead the initiative, the cleantech firm has appointed Ties Venema, who joined H2O Innovation last year. Venema has 20 years of industry experience and said he expects the Bilbao office to serve as a springboard for growth throughout Europe and Middle east.
