Spokesperson for provincial fire marshal's office says no evidence to indicate blaze was suspicious

ARICHAT, N.S.—The Nova Scotia fire marshal’s office says its investigators could not determine the cause of a fire that destroyed a seafood processing plant in Cape Breton last month.

Firefighters from four fire departments responded to the fire at Premium Seafoods in Arichat, which destroyed the facility’s groundfish processing plant and a retail market.

A spokesperson for the fire marshal’s office says there was nothing to indicate the fire was suspicious.

No one was hurt in the blaze.
