Randolph Froude, who has an engineering background, formerly worked with a machine builder.

The appointment is billed by Harting as the second stage in establishing more of a presence in the Canadian industrial connectors market. The company opened a national sales office in Montreal in 2011, and named a new Canadian CEO earlier this year.

“Randolph’s appointment continues the process of establishing a personal relationship between Harting and our Canadian customers, and building what has been a very successful launch for Harting Canada,” said Jon DeSouza, president and CEO of Harting Inc. of North America and Harting Canada Inc.

The Harting Technology Group, family owned and based in Germany, employs approximately 3,500 people globally across more than 40 subsidiaries and branch offices. With production facilities in Europe, Asia and the US, the company produces connectors for industrial, telecom and energy applications.
