Randolph Froude, who has an engineering background, formerly worked with a machine builder.

The appointment is billed by Harting as the second stage in establishing more of a presence in the Canadian industrial connectors market. The company opened a national sales office in Montreal in 2011, and named a new Canadian CEO earlier this year.

“Randolph’s appointment continues the process of establishing a personal relationship between Harting and our Canadian customers, and building what has been a very successful launch for Harting Canada,” said Jon DeSouza, president and CEO of Harting Inc. of North America and Harting Canada Inc.
