Ford set to launch new Special Edition F-150 SVT Raptor pickup

Package offers new colours, interior finishes to off-road-ready pickup
DEARBORN, Mich.—Ford has announced a new package will be available on its F-150 SVT Raptor this year, but the Special Edition is a lot of extra ‘show’ with no added ‘go’.
According to the automaker, the Special Edition option available with the 2014 Raptor adds to its top-of-the-line Luxury package, with ruby red or tuxedo black metallic paint schemes and new box-side graphics for the exterior, and a handful of new interior accents.
The new aesthetic options follow on the addition of a Torsen limited-slip differential in the Raptor’s independent front suspension system in 2012, and what the automaker calls “beadlock-capable” wheels all around.
The 2014 Raptor Special Edition goes on sale this fall.
