TORONTO—Firefighters have contained a four-alarm blaze at an industrial building in west-end Toronto.

Crews were called at about 2 a.m. to the building on Birmingham Street near Lakeshore Boulevard and Islington Avenue.

The blaze reportedly began in a truck at a loading dock and spread to the facility, which is believed to contain a fruit warehouse.

Firefighters prevented the flames from spreading to an adjacent temple.

Officials say the building was empty and there were no injuries.
