
Chrysler Canada changes name to FCA Canada

Change comes after global corporate parent's name switched to Fiat Chrysler Automobiles to reflect merger between Fiat, Chrysler Group
WINDSOR, Ont.—Chrysler Canada Inc. is changing its name to FCA Canada Inc., following the change of its global corporate parent’s name to Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V. (FCA) last October.
The company says the name change is effective immediately.
FCA Canada has more than 10,000 employees.
The company assembles the Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans in Windsor, Ont., as well as the Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger in Brampton, Ont.
FCA Canada also has an aluminum casting plant in Toronto, a research and development centre in Windsor, and has sales offices and parts distribution centres across the country.
