Canada Goose, maker of extreme-weather outerwear, says move part of plan to entice U.S. retailers
TORONTO—Canada Goose is opening a U.S. headquarters in Denver as it beefs up operations south of the border.
The Toronto-based manufacturer of high-end, extreme-weather outerwear said the move is part of its strategy of bringing the company’s iconic Canadian-made jackets to premium U.S. retail customers.
The new headquarters will house a retail showroom and a new sales team under the direction of Ian Widmer, director of U.S. sales, who has been with the company since 2009.
No manufacturing operations have been announced for the Colorado site.
