VODKOW debuts holiday cream liquor at Sherway Gardens and Square One Shopping Centre

TORONTO — VODKOW, the makers of lactose-free cream liquors, launched an art installations at Sherway Gardens and Square One Shopping Centre. VODKOW is produced in the town of Almonte, Ont., which some say is the location of Canada’s most infamous UFO sightings (the ‘Guardian’ case). The company drew inspiration from its hometown’s history to tell its story.
“The juxtaposition of UFOs and cows is fun and illustrates our goal of taking the best of dairy forward into the future with innovation” said Omid McDonald, co-founder, VODKOW.
The company commissioned Toronto artist Alex McLeod to express how VODKOW is creating the future of cream liquor. McLeod’s artwork has been physically reproduced into an immersive display that can be experienced at VODKOW’s GTA activations at Sherway Gardens and Square One Shopping Centre over the Holidays (Nov 24-Dec 24).
VODKOW cream uses 100 per cent lactose-free Canadian cream and carbon neutral VODKOW Vodka, made from upcycled milk sugar from cream production waste. VODKOW’s packaging reflects the company’s dairy heritage while reducing carbon emissions in packaging and transportation. The company has garnered the Dairy Farmers of Canada’s ‘blue cow’ logo of approval.
“Providing sustainable options for cream liquors is essential for the long-term viability of the category” said McDonald.
VODKOW will be running a sampling program to launch two new holiday flavours including VODKOW Eggnog Cream Liquor and a limited release of VODKOW Orange Cream Liquor.
