Vida Carbon enters sales agreement with Shell

The execution of the agreement delivers on Vida Carbon's targeted shareholder returns and establishes a working relationship with Shell. 

VANCOUVER — Vida Carbon Corp. has entered into a sales agreement with Shell Energy North America.

The first delivery of carbon credits covered by the agreement is expected in late 2023.

“At Vida Carbon we invest in high quality carbon credit projects, an indispensable tool for reducing and removing greenhouse gas emissions globally. Entering into this agreement with Shell represents a significant milestone for the company and demonstrates a growing awareness of the role of carbon credits as an essential tool in combating climate change. We look forward to a strong and mutually beneficial relationship with Shell,”  said Veljko Brcic, CEO of Vida Carbon in a statement.
