Toronto lighting manufacturer awarded $100,000 from FedDev Ontario

TORONTO—Industrial lighting components maker Viscor Inc. was awarded $100,000 by the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario) via the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters’ (CME) CME SMART Advanced Technologies for Global Growth program.
The funding will be used to purchase equipment to help Viscor become more competitive and strengthen its ability to participate in global supply chains.
Since July 2015, the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME) has awarded more than $4 million to 49 projects through its CME SMART Advanced Technologies for Global Growth program
Established in 1952, Viscor Inc. specializes in LED and fluorescent lighting products and metal fabrication, and has been manufacturing products under the Visioneering, Certolux and TBR Lighting Brands.
