Toronto—Wesco Aircraft Holdings, Inc, finalized its $134-million acquisition of Interfast Inc., a Toronto-based parts distributor.
Interfast supplies fasteners, fastening systems and production installation tooling to OEMs and MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) providers in aerospace, electronics and general industrial markets.
The acquisition gives Wesco a headstart on implementing a new, planned MRO platform.
Westco will report the financial impact of the acquisition its fiscal third quarter 2012 earnings release.
