SNC-Lavalin has signed a CAN$133-million project management contract with Petroleos de Venezuela S.A. (PDVSA) for the Delta Caribe Oriental Project.

MONTREAL—SNC-Lavalin has signed a CAN$133-million project management contract with Petroleos de Venezuela S.A. (PDVSA) for the Delta Caribe Oriental Project.

The project in northeastern Venezuela consists of four offshore gas fields—Dragon, Patao, Mejillones and Rio Caribe—and substantial onshore development for industry, named Complejo Industrial Gran Mariscal Ayacucho (CIGMA).

SNC-Lavalin’s project management team will supervise the work of contractors providing engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning services for the offshore and onshore facilities.

The initial mobilization is underway at the project’s offices in Caracas, CumanĂ¡, London and Houston.
