
Sigma Lithium appoints Dana Perlman as third independent director

VANCOUVER — Sigma Lithium Corporation has appointed Dana Perlman as its third independent director.
The company says Perlman will bring over 20 years of expertise in strategy, finance, investment banking, corporate governance, financial reporting, internal controls and compliance to her new role with Sigma Lithium.
Furthermore, the company says this appointment is consistent with its objectives to adhere to best practices in governance, diversity, equity and inclusion.
With this appointment, 50 per cent of Sigma Lithium’s board of directors are independent directors, 33 per cent are females and 50 per cent are underrepresented groups.
“We are delighted to have Dana join the growing Sigma Lithium team at this critical juncture as we transform from developer to producer,” said co-CEO and co-chairperson Ana Cabral Gardner in a statement.
“Not only are we continuing to strengthen the team with the appointment of another experienced and qualified director, but we are also keeping with our commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals #5 (Gender Equality).”
